Alex Ramirez

Alex Ramirez is an associate and Office Director with Design Workshop, a landscape architecture and urban design firm. Based in Houston, Alex has gained valuable experience in both the private and public sectors. As a landscape architect, he has been involved in all stages of the design process ranging from conceptual design and site testing to construction documentation and detailed construction observation. Alex’s background in residential design combined with his diverse experience developing landmark projects in the public realm has shaped his perspective on balancing detailed design with complex design problems across many municipalities. With more than a decade of experience, Alex takes great pride in his ability to deliver the highest quality of work to our clients by successfully implementing innovative design solutions for plazas, streetscapes, parks, and open spaces that balance the social, cultural, economic, and environmental issues of the surrounding neighborhoods and districts of the region.
